About Susan Abshire
My family values started long before I got into real estate. Growing up on a cattle ranch in Texas, my parents taught me early on to value what I have. I might not have come from the wealthiest of families, but I always felt rich with the experiences I was able to have with them. This quality has boiled over into my real estate business, as I feel truly well-off to have my family, my team, my company and my clients in my life.
I moved from Texas to North Carolina where I got into real estate after admiring a friend already in the business. My profession as a histologist was hitting a dead end at the time and I wanted to make a transformation in my life goals so I decided to start a new career path into Real Estate. “I can honestly say I love by job 100 percent.” I love getting to work with people each day and the friendships I have made along the way is what motivates me. I love seeing a family come back to buy a new home because they have grown, which is part of the reason my repeat and referral business is a staggering 75 plus percent.
I have continued to grow my business by being a certified Cartus Relocation Specialist, member of the Top Producers Council, Coldwell Banker International Presidents Elite, 100 Most Influential Realtors of North Carolina, Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Luxury Home Marketing, and Howard Perry and Walston Pinnacle Club.
Beyond real estate, I try to spend my free time with the loves of my life – my grandchrildren. I also enjoy growing hot peppers, roses, herbs, and orchids and I am a fan of the Carolina Hurricanes and Dallas Cowboys. I love to get away to the beach or just hang out by the pool.
As I move forward with my real estate business, my team and I plan on continuing to grow our knowledge with technology and helping all of our family and friends with their real estate needs.
